PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:Technical product is light-yellow solid with the m.p. 45-46^oC.The solubility (20^oC,g/l)in acetone is 100,100 in methanol, 700 in xylene and insolube in water.The product of 25EC is brownish-red liquid with the d204 1.04,f.p.66^oC.It is stable in neuter and acid solutions, easily to decompose in alkaline solution. 
TOXICOLOGY:With a low toxicity, acute oral LD₅₀ for male rats is 430mg/kg, for female rats 369mg/kg; acute dermal LD₅₀ for rats is 4640mg/kg,It's slight stimulative for eyes.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USES:Bromoxynil octanoate is a selective after-seedling culm and leaf contact poisoning weedicide with some systemic activity. It can effectively control the broad-leaved weeds in greal crops,flax,gareic, maize, onions,sorghum and in newly-soon turf.It is used to kill the broad-leaved weeds in wheat or cron field.Use 300-450g AI/ha after mixing with 50kg water and spraying between the wheat's 3 leaves and 5 leaves.

1.Do not mix with alkaline pesticide or fertilizer.
2.Do not spray on other neighboring crops.
